Lovro Peretic in Concert

Young Croatian guitarist Lovro Peretić is a first prize winner of numerous international competitions,

including the 3rd EuroStrings Competition, the Changsha International Guitar Competition in China, and

the Fernando Sor Competition in Italy. In 2022 he won first prize at the Guitar Foundation of America

International Concert Artist Competition, perhaps the most important event of its kind in the world. As

part of his prize, he has recorded a CD for the Naxos label and will make an extensive winner’s tour of

North America during the 2023-24 season. Peretić graduated with distinction from the Zagreb Music

Academy, and later studied in Geneva with the distinguished teacher Judicaël Perroy at the Haute Ecole

de Musique Genève. He has performed throughout Europe as soloist and a chamber musician, and has

been guest artist at the Paris International Guitar Festival, the London International Guitar Festival, the

Music Festival “Vladimir Spivakov” in Moscow, the Antwerp International Guitar Festival and many

others. He is a member of the guitar trio Evocación, with whom he recently released an album through

the Italian label Dotguitar.
