Sanel Redzic In Concert

Leading European guitarist Sanel Redžić began guitar studies in his native Bosnia and went on to

complete masters and Konzertexamen degrees under Thomas Müller-Pering and Ricardo Gallen at the

"Franz Liszt" Academy of Music in Weimar, Germany. Winner of thirty-six prizes in major competitions,

including first prizes in the Tokyo International Competition and the International Competition in

Changsha, China, he now enjoys flourishing concert career that has taken him to most countries in

Europe, to Asia and to the Americas. Composers such as Vojislav Ivanović and Konstantin Vassiliev have

written works for him, and his interest in expanding the classical guitar’s musical horizons has led him to

collaborate in concerts and recordings with the Balkan folk band Divahana. Redžić has recorded CDs for

Gramofon Sarajevo, Central German Radio (MDR) and KSG Exaudio, and is the founder of the guitar

summer school in the Bosnian town of Zlaca and the Guitar Week in Tuzla. He currently teaches at the

University of Osijek in Croatia and at the University of Erfurt in Germany.
